This is an original ballpoint pen piece of art that was inspired by my visits to Dartmoor National Park, Devon. Whilst walking around the beautiful Burrator Reservoir my eyes are drawn to the ancient trees that are in abundance. 
 
My wife and I regularly take walks here as it is a wonderfully awe inspiring place. 
I used many sketchbooks and layer paper to design this tree but also use at least one pen to create it as it requires many layers to create this rich, potent finish.
