Bellever Forest near Postbridge in Dartmoor National Park is a truly magical place with wild ponies, deer and some exquisite bird life. Whilst walking through the Forest I am always captivated by the tall pine trees that surround you along the trails.

I have tried to capture the depth and density of these giant trees but draw the eye into the tree by this cascading light. This piece was a labour of love as it was by far the most time consuming. I hope that you love this piece as much as I enjoyed producing it.

This ballpoint pen artwork took me approximately one week to produce. Unlike the 'Burrator Woodland' picture I wanted to enthasise the texture of the bark to act as a contrast for the trees behind in which I used a stipple effect by building layers and layers of ink.
